Resumo

Introdução: A crescente complexidade dos sistemas de saúde, associada à sobrecarga assistencial e ao desperdício de recursos, exige metodologias de gestão que melhorem a eficiência e a qualidade. Entre estas, o Lean System e Six Sigma (LSS) têm vindo a destacar-se na área da saúde, incluindo na gestão em enfermagem

Objetivos: Mapear as aplicações e os resultados do LSS na gestão em Enfermagem

Métodos: Recorreu-se a uma scoping review, segundo as diretrizes do Instituto Joanna Briggs, e o modelo PCC. Incluíram-se estudos publicados nos últimos cinco anos, na área de enfermagem, que respondessem à questão: De que forma as metodologias Lean System e Six Sigma têm sido aplicadas na gestão em enfermagem e que resultados têm demonstrado?

Resultados: As metodologias LSS demonstraram impacto positivo na otimização dos processos, padronização das práticas, redução de desperdícios, melhoria da segurança do utente e aumento da satisfação profissional.Contudo, identificaram-se barreiras como resistência organizacional, escassez de recursos e formação inadequada, reforçando a importância da capacitação das equipas e da liderança em enfermagem.

Conclusão: Esta revisão permitiu compreender o contributo das metodologias LSS para a melhoria operacional e assistencial na gestão em enfermagem, evidenciando o seu potencial transformador e detetou fragilidades que justificam investigação futura.
