About the Journal

Editorial Profile

The journal publishes articles in Portuguese and English in its online edition, covering all areas of health sciences. It regularly includes original research articles in clinical or basic sciences, systematic reviews, short communications, clinical case reports, experience reports, editorials, scientific opinion pieces, critical reviews, letters to the editor, and biographical highlights of the editorial team or authors.

All articles are peer-reviewed by specialists appointed by the editors before acceptance for publication. Submission of a manuscript to TER ISAVE implies that it has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The journal charges no fees for submission or publication.

After the article is accepted, all authors are responsible for its translation, and the linguistic revision of the translation is ensured by TER ISAVE.

Publication Frequency

TER ISAVE follows a continuous publication model since 2022, with three regular issues per year (every four months). Regular issues are launched in January, May, and September. Special issues may also be published as determined by the Editorial Board.
