About the Journal

The journal Ter ISAVE – Research & Innovation in Health is a scientific publication of ISAVE – Instituto Superior de Saúde, dedicated to disseminating research and innovations in the field of health. This journal aims to promote scientific production and knowledge sharing among professionals, researchers, and students, contributing to the advancement of health sciences. ISAVE actively encourages scientific output through this journal, aligning with its strategic axes of research and innovation.

Editorial Profile

It publishes articles in both Portuguese and English in its online edition, covering all areas of health sciences. It regularly includes original research articles (clinical or basic), systematic reviews, short communications, clinical cases, experience reports, editorials, scientific opinion articles, critical reviews, letters to the editor, and biographical highlights of the editorial team or authors.

All articles are peer-reviewed by specialists appointed by the editors before being accepted for publication. Submission of an article to TER ISAVE implies that it has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Submission and publication in the journal are free of charge.

After acceptance, all authors are responsible for translating their article. The linguistic review of the translation is ensured by TER ISAVE.

Periodicity

TER ISAVE follows a continuous publication model since 2022, with three regular issues per year (every four months). Regular issues are opened in January, May, and September of the respective year. The journal may also publish special issues, as defined by the Editorial Board.

Access

TER ISAVE is open access and available online.
